Binoculars allow excellent moon views, and great viewing of star fields, comets and even deep sky objects. When purchasing a pair of binoculars you want to know that you are purchasing the best possible pair.
Kids use binoculars as toys and as learning devices. Most pocket binoculars sport a double-folding design and an attached carrying case. But the optical surfaces still need protection from scratches and other damage.
